Shipping policy

This policy describes the controls that apply to eligible orders. Availability remains subject to supplier eligibility, manufacturer authorization, and the product- and destination-specific rules shown before an order is accepted.

Shipping charges

A dropship-eligible item uses Zanders' freight policy. That charge is $15.00 when the dropship merchandise is under $500, and it is free at $500 or more. Zanders also adds $7.50 when that dropship merchandise is under $100. This flat policy applies only in the contiguous United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and other destinations are not priced as a flat rate.

Every other item ships from the Precision Hardware FFL in Summerville, South Carolina. A rifle, shotgun, or other long gun is $35.00. A handgun or suppressor is $20.00. When both are in the same Summerville shipment, the charge is the higher of the two, not both. Ammunition, optics, and accessories in a Summerville shipment that has no firearm are $15.00.

South Carolina sales tax is 7% on the merchandise and shipping for a delivery in South Carolina. That is the Dorchester County rate, 6% state plus 1% local. Orders delivered in another state are not taxed until Precision Hardware is registered to collect tax there.

Firearms and receiving FFLs

Eligible firearms will ship only to a valid receiving Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) at the licensed premises address. Firearms cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box. The customer must provide accurate receiving-FFL information and follow the transfer instructions presented during checkout.

Precision Hardware reviews the receiving FFL before any firearm leaves staff control. Staff verify the dealer in ATF FFL eZ Check. A license copy is not uploaded here. A firearm may be held or declined when the FFL cannot be verified.

Ammunition and accessories

Ammunition and accessories are subject to federal, state, local, carrier, manufacturer, and supplier restrictions. Product availability varies by destination. Precision Hardware will not accept an order when the item cannot lawfully or contractually be shipped to the destination.

Destination restrictions

Published supplier destination blocks are checked before checkout can continue. Other state and local rules stay on hold until staff confirms them. The site does not submit a supplier order by itself. The customer remains responsible for ensuring that the purchase, possession, and intended use of an item is lawful in their jurisdiction. Direct Ship limitations

The Zanders Direct Ship fulfillment path does not support NFA items or hazmat items. It also has supplier and manufacturer-specific eligibility and destination limitations. Those items will not be accepted through that fulfillment path.

Shipment changes and delivery issues

After an order is submitted to a Direct Ship supplier, cancellation and change requests must be reviewed with the supplier and are not guaranteed. Address corrections, undeliverable packages, returns to sender, or reshipments may create additional charges where permitted and disclosed before order acceptance.
