Returns & refunds

This policy applies to eligible orders accepted by Precision Hardware. It reflects the selected Zanders Direct Ship return option and may be supplemented by product-specific legal, manufacturer, or fulfillment requirements.

Return authorization and timing

A return merchandise authorization (RMA) is required before any return is sent. The RMA request must be made within 30 days of the invoice date. Products sent without an authorized RMA may be refused.

Return condition

All return-eligible merchandise must be unopened and in its original, undamaged packaging. Opened, used, altered, damaged, or incomplete merchandise is not eligible for return through this policy.

Defective merchandise and warranties

Defect or warranty concerns are handled through the applicable manufacturer warranty process, not as a return of opened merchandise. Contact Precision Hardware before sending a product anywhere so we can provide the appropriate instructions. Zanders will not accept an item for return after it has been sent to the manufacturer for warranty repair.

Eligible returns

Unopened merchandise that meets the condition requirements above may be eligible for a Zanders return without a restocking fee, subject to the RMA and 30-day request requirements.

How returns are processed

After an RMA is approved, follow the return instructions provided by Precision Hardware. The RMA number must be placed on the outside of the shipping package. Credit is issued after the returned product is received and processed by the fulfillment warehouse.

A prepaid return label is provided only when a Zanders fulfillment error is confirmed. Do not send a product back until you have received an RMA and return instructions.

Product-specific requirements

Certain products may be subject to additional legal, transfer, safety, or manufacturer requirements. Any applicable requirements will be presented before a future order is accepted.
