State shipping restrictions
Checkout compares the ship-to state, or the receiving FFL state for a firearm or suppressor, with the rules below. A match stops that item and links here. These rules come from Zanders’ published direct-ship restrictions and the statewide limits major retailers, including Palmetto State Armory, publish. They are shipping rules for this store, not legal advice. Cities and counties can be stricter, and those local rules stay with staff.
Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.
No catalog merchandise is shipped to Massachusetts or the District of Columbia.
District of Columbia
No catalog merchandise is shipped to the District of Columbia.
California
Suppressors are not shipped. Magazines over 10 rounds are not shipped. Ammunition is not shipped to the customer. Other firearms stay on staff hold and are not drop-shipped.
New York
Suppressors are not shipped. Magazines over 10 rounds are not shipped. Ammunition is not shipped to the customer.
New Jersey
Suppressors are not shipped. Magazines over 10 rounds are not shipped. Ammunition is not shipped to the customer.
Hawaii
Suppressors are not shipped. Ammunition is not shipped. Zanders does not drop-ship to Hawaii.
Illinois
Suppressors are not shipped. Rifle magazines over 10 rounds, shotgun magazines over 5 rounds, and handgun magazines over 15 rounds are not shipped. A magazine whose firearm type is not in the title is held for staff when it is 11 to 15 rounds. Chicago is not shipped to, and staff confirms the city because checkout only collects the state.
Maryland
Suppressors are not shipped. Magazines over 10 rounds are not shipped. Zanders also requires a Maryland resale certificate before any drop ship.
Delaware
Suppressors are not shipped. Magazines over 17 rounds are not shipped.
Rhode Island
Suppressors are not shipped. Magazines over 10 rounds are not shipped.
Connecticut
Magazines over 10 rounds are not shipped.
Colorado
Magazines over 15 rounds are not shipped. Zanders does not drop-ship ammunition to Colorado.
Vermont
Rifle magazines over 10 rounds, and handgun magazines over 15 rounds, are not shipped.
Washington
Magazines over 10 rounds are not shipped. Firearms and parts that the catalog cannot prove are compliant stay on staff hold.
Oregon
Zanders does not drop-ship magazines over 10 rounds, or firearms that include them, to Oregon. Other Oregon destinations stay on staff hold.
Every other state
If a published Zanders block does not already stop the item, checkout stays on a staff hold. Nothing is sent to Zanders automatically. A feature-based firearm ban, such as a specific stock or grip, is not guessed from the product title.
