Privacy policy

1. Information we collect

We may receive information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and the contents of a message you send toadmin@precisionhardware.net. We also receive limited technical information automatically when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring page, and site-interaction data.

The checkout process may collect additional information needed for payment, delivery, customer support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and applicable FFL transfers. The checkout privacy notice identifies the information collected and the service providers used at that time.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the site, respond to inquiries, understand site performance, prevent misuse, comply with legal and supplier obligations, and process and support an accepted order where applicable. We do not use the site to make automated eligibility or credit decisions.

3. Analytics and service providers

The site may use Google Analytics when configured to understand aggregate site usage. Google Analytics is configured with Google Signals and ad personalization signals disabled. Cloudflare provides website hosting and security services. Google Fonts may also receive a browser request when the site loads its typography. These providers may process technical information required to provide their services.

Precision Hardware identifies the payment, fulfillment, FFL-validation, customer-support, and other service providers that may process customer information for an order.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The age gate uses a signed, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax cookie to record an access confirmation. If “Remember my choice for one hour” is selected, that cookie expires after one hour. If it is not selected, the confirmation is limited to the browser session. The cookie is not proof of eligibility and does not authorize a regulated purchase.

Analytics and other service providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies according to their policies. You can manage many cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect site features.

5. How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help operate the site, such as hosting, security, analytics, communications, payment and fulfillment providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction permitted by law. We do not sell payment-card numbers or card-security codes because we do not collect them.

6. Payment information

Precision Hardware uses an approved hosted or tokenized payment-provider flow before any payment information is collected. Precision Hardware will not ask customers to provide a payment-card number or CVV through email.

7. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including security, support, legal, and record- keeping obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your choices and requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law and any legitimate record-retention requirements. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law. To make a request, emailadmin@precisionhardware.net.

9. Children

The site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the request.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as site features and the commerce program develop. The current version will be posted here. Material changes related to checkout or customer data will be reflected here before they apply.
